It's A Wonderful Life!!

I just wanted to post something to get all of your spirits up and ready for CHRISTmas!! Enjoy. . .

I've always loved this song but especially now it has alot of meaning!

Grown-up christmas list

Do you remember me?
I sat upon your knee;
I wrote to you
With childhood fantasies.

Well, I'm all grown-up now,
And still need help somehow. (can you still help somehow)
I'm not a child,
But my heart still can dream.

So here's my lifelong wish,
My grown-up christmas list.
Not for myself,
But for a world in need.

No more lives torn apart,
That wars would never start,(and wars would never start)
And time would heal all hearts.
And everyone would have a friend,
And right would always win,
And love would never end.
This is my grown-up christmas list.

As children we believed
The grandest sight to see
Was something lovely
Wrapped beneath our tree.(wrapped beneath the tree)

Well heaven surely knows
That packages and bows
Can never heal
A hurting human soul.

No more lives torn apart,
That wars would never start,
And time would heal all hearts.
And everyone would have a friend,
And right would always win,
And love would never end.
This is my grown-up christmas list.

What is this illusion called the innocence of youth?
Maybe only in our blind belief can we ever find the truth.
(there'd be)

No more lives torn apart,
That wars would never start,
And time would heal all hearts.
And everyone would have a friend,
And right would always win,
And love would never end, oh.
This is my grown-up christmas list.

This is my grown-up christmas list.

Very nice post, Janai!

You are such a blessing to me and mom. Thanks for everything you do, even the stuff we don't see, but God does! :-)

Sarah, that is a song originally by Amy Grant (I'm pretty sure) but my favorite version is by Kelly Clarkson.

GO Miss Jen!

Earwen, That has always been a favorite with our whole family for years!

Thanks Dad, you're the best! =)

Love, Janai
